Q&A
What is a Dietitian-Nutritionist?
"All registered dietitians are nutritionists but not all nutritionists are registered dietitians."
The biggest difference is that a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) has had far more education than the average "health coach" or "nutrition coach" etc.
Registered Dietitians have completed at least 1,200 supervised practice hours in their internship in areas of clinical, community, food service, and other areas of nutrition. In addition, they sat and passed the "Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) exam" which gave them the title of RD or RDN.
I am unable to make an in-person session, can I book a virtual appointment?
Yes! Sessions are either held in-person or virtually, whichever is more convenient to the client.
I have food intolerances/sensitivities, will you be able to help me?
Yes we can! Together, we will go through your current eating plan and help identify triggers/sensitivities or possible intolerances.
I tried all the latest fad diets and nothing seems to work, why will this program work?
It's simple. Tehila Soskel Nutrition is a lifestyle and not a "diet".
The key to success is consistency.
In the initial session we will set realistic, attainable goals for your specific needs. We will go through your eating habits, any past medical history, food preferences, intolerances, and other relevant areas. Together, we will make the appropriate changes for the client.
